Researchers founded Kashmir Elk at the mountain areas in Afghanistan after their 60years disappear. This kind of elk is very rare in the world.
At mating season, they will come out and use their tusk to attract female elks and beat the enemies rather than feed on others blood.
Researchers said that they haven’t seen this kind of tusk elk for 60years since 1948.
Kashmir Elk lives in the sheer mountains covered with forests in the northeast of Afghanistan.According to the investment recorded, they found this kind of elk for 5times,including a lonely male elk with a little elk at the same place for three times.
The researchers said that the called their Kashmir Tusk Elk for the reason that the male elk beat each other to make sure their female elk stay with them
